I am so glad you wrote about about this. You lead the way Debbie by sharing your very painful but truthful story. I hope it helps you move forward. So many of us guard family pain from ever coming to light. We are so imperfect as humans and we do what we can. Life is fleeting, thank you, love you!
Thank you friend. I have been discerning how to move forward for so long and every time I write it feels better. I pray for all families in pain to heal and to see redeeming qualities in each other. You're right, life is very fleeting. love you too. ox
Having been with you in spirit in sharing your pain over this period, I know that your words at long last open that wound to the air, to be cleansed and to heal. Sharing this, writing the words , has I am sure been a cathartic experience for you, which has been a long time coming. I am glad to share in this through your words. Xxx
Dear Cousin, I appreciate your love and support. This whole writing area, writing about stories, etc., has been extremely cathartic. Baby steps to healing and stories that might matter to my family someday. I hope to encourage anyone stuck inside of pain, to climb out and do what they are made to do. love you. ox
Thank you sweet friend. We know that pain is less penetrating if we keep living forward and doing what God has made us to do. Forgiveness is definitely the first step but it takes time and doesn't mean that we forget pains. I never want to think that I could give someone else the kind of pain I've felt - but I know we are all capable, even if meaning well or missing something along the way -- we all need the Ultimate Forgiveness. oxoxox
Dear Friend, at some point sitting down and writing about our pains, whether in a journal or public, is an important first step to healing. The pain of loss, as we know, is a terrible pain. On any level. I've found that doing things my dad loved to do or re-visiting places that we went as a family, is incredibly gratifying., only because I'm so grateful for these things. It brings us close to good days and redeeming qualities. Sending you my love as well. ox
