What a beautiful treat it was to learn of this story. I feel abundantly full & want to know more. We are all molded with pieces of the past.

Thank you for this ❤

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment :) I want to know more too. There is a lot to our stories and it's such a nice feeling to hear you enjoyed it (and maybe some new music!). It felt extra good to get it done while trying to kick Covid's butt. Can't tell you how much I appreciate the interest and the love. Love you Adam. ox

I absolutely love this true life story in it's depiction of the history of the Vaucher family and their fascinating journey to this country. It's an emotional connection for your family to discover and explore. Such an enjoyable read!

It's always so fascinating to think of arriving through Ellis Island. When we were there I thought of them. I believe they were 3rd Class, as the upper classes never had to go through Ellis Island. At Ellis there was some uncomfortable health testing. The never ending division of classes and races. In my research of the ships I discovered this. Of course they were so young with very little money as all immigrants during this time period. The art deco interiors of that ship, the SS Paris, were like none ever seen, but not for the lower classes. I would like to think that Max with all of his artistic nature could have seen the whole beauty of it, but I think not. Thank you for straining to read and comment. I know how hard it is on your sight.

I love you mom. ox
