Thank you Jamie! You know the "flow." I have no idea how this happens but I like it! ox

Funny that I use the same word in a poem that I recently wrote. Cerulean.❤️

Did I miss it? I looked back through the last 5 stories and I didn't see it! But it's so beautiful! I was saying it on repeat "Cerulean sky." Love the "s" sound together :) Plus I do love turquoise! My kitchen and entryway is this color! It's wild :)

I always feel like I have to look up it’s pronunciation 😂😂

A great word!

How often do musicians bring out those words and melodies that talk to people! And then we write, echoing the emotion in our own words and inspiring in small but beautiful ways. It is a circle of life. :)

Jenni, it's so true! I was suddenly in flow mode and wrote, without stopping and then that song really came to my mind. We are all under the same sky. Our children are our future and they deserve better! These were my thoughts behind the flow. Thank you for reading and always being so kind. ox

May God continue to bless you with a voice through your writing, that helps so many of us!

Thank you Jenni. I am pushing forward and hoping to make something more of the podcast. If you would have told me I'd be in this place four years ago, there's no way I would have ever seen it coming. I'm praying about having the family on, from Patrick's Story (here on my stack) and so much more. oxox

Ahhh, thank you Jenn! I got into the flow-mode again! My thoughts were, "we are all under the same sky and our children deserve so much better from the world." I saw our grandchildren jumping and playing and it was perfect. Those were back in March and I really wished I had my real "faster" camera. Next time! I might have got 137 bites on the grass, but it was worth it! ha ha! Then, the littlest, Vi, and the oldest, Sienna (in the first pic w/hand) came under with me and Violet laid on my tummy, while Siena tried to take pictures. Too cute! Thennn....... John thought he'd be the big Dodo Bird and we rolled out just in time! Silly man! Thank you for your kind comment. I don't know where the flow poetry is coming from, but I'm running with it like an exercise from top to bottom without changing anything, when it happens. I feel a bit vulnerable - but... that's what we do right?!

We are running around to leave for my mom's in Oregon, on our summer road trip and it's one million degrees :(. Hope you're all keeping well and cool! ox

That is wonderful. Your grandkids will never forget those memories. Your flow poetry is gorgeous. I do often think of us all being under the same sky, but experiencing life so differently. But the sky is a constant, even in all its own changes. When my husband travels, I think of it still connecting us somehow. I love your take on the subject. Good luck with the heat and the road trip! I hope Jack is feeling better. Prayers for safe travel. ❤️

Thank you Jenn 🩷

Yes, the sky is constant. Beautiful way to say it being connected by the sky and stars when your husband travels ☺️

Jack is clearing up and we hope it stays that way 🙏🏻 Thank you ☺️ Hope you're all enjoying summer! ox

Your hopes and dreams for your grandkids…that’s what I’m reading in these rhythmics

sweet and simple words! Cerulean is best of the bunch! 😉🩵😊And your grandkids playing… grandma on the ground! Love this so much, dear friend…I must try poetic style someday! Love you! 🤗❤️🥰

Yesss! You got it friend! It came to me and my feeling was, "we are all under the same sky," especially our children. The children of this country and world. They deserve better. And I LOVE that word "cerulean!" We also have a turquoise kitchen and entry hall! So I'm a bit into the color! I hope you do try the flow poetry someday! I can see it now laced together, feelings and moods from stories of home!! Tied together. The thing is the words flow to the next. I have no idea how this came to me to be honest. I know nothing about poetry, but someone titled this style for me as "flow." Hope you're having a good weekend! We are running around to get ready for our roadtrip to mom's! Love you. oxox

I love this Deborah, and a strong message for today exploring the paradoxes of life, and the coexistence of dreams and realities. Even in the face of challenges and unknown futures I’m given hope. I talk about this theme in my article I published moments ago. I love Serendipity!

Oh Charlotte! I so appreciate you! I was thinking how we are all under the same sky, especially the children who deserve so much more. I can't wait to read your story! Serendipity is the best and when it happens it's really special. I have it with my mom and youngest son. Then recently with John (but not as often). We have a wavelength, you and me! yay! We've been running around getting ready for our road trip home to mom's in rural Oregon! Sending you my love. Thank you. ox

Well, coming from you, that means the world! I love your writing and poetry. I was thinking about our children being under the same sky and how precious, how they deserve better.

Thank you Julie. oxox

Bless you. The eyes of children were once our own eyes and that’s what’s difficult to bear. We recall our own beautiful innocence marred when we see the bad things happening. That’s why keeping our inner child alive inside is so important. We have less inclination to hurt our wonderful world.

Bob! Yesss :) This was back in March and I believe I got 137 bites laying under the trampoline, but it was worth it. <insert laughing emoji> The flow poem came to mind and then those iPhone images. Next time I'll have my good fast camera with me! (and some bug spray). Still praying for you and your healing, your mom and the new book! ox
