Deb, gosh, thanks for the mention here, especially among such other wonderful writers. I am honored, truly. I am only coming around to catching up so I apologize for the delay in response. I look forward to reading your posts! Happy New Year, friend.

Dearest Kelly! Thank you soooo much and it's me who must apologize and pull the age card here! I literally thought I had subscribed to you! My email box is 200 new advertisements a day so I just go to the Substacks I follow and I didn't realize I am not subscribed (until now!!) 🤦‍♀️ Feeling silly, and very honored you have read a few of mine. We are all, it seems, writing or creating our way through the joys, weeds and valleys of life. My prayer is to stay informed, be interested in people from all walks of life, and see the peaks of God's glorious mountains in the process! Can't wait to catch up with your latest! oxox

Dear Deb, you've got quite a roundup here, and included a wide array of all the parts and pieces of 2023. I appreciate the mention along with my friend Kris as one of the Christian writers you enjoy here on Substack. Thank you for including mention of the Eliot poem, Sean Johnson on The Daily Poem podcast read it yesterday.

Merry Christmas, friend. Here's to a new year centered on Jesus!

Jody,

thank you for this and for being a guiding light to my heart. I am (I know) a very felt person and possibly too deep for many. I wanted to be a journalist (originally, in high school) and so I lean into a diverse amount of writing and reporting. Always in search of truth, as I keep Christ at the center.

I will have to give that podcast a listen! Had no idea, so thank you! and today... on "Things Worth Remembering" at The Free Press (Douglas Murray), he posted Eliot's Magi poem too! 🎄 Love how poetry is broken down uniquely by each reader!

Merry Christmas to you and yours and God keep you always,

love, deb ox
