Chills! Lauren's concert sounds impactful - music, message, generosity. Love the "finding yourself" theme.

Just wow! You’ve dug deep again as only you can! I love her too… thought it was Adele when I first heard her songs! Shch a powerful voice, such perfect lyrics! Thank you for sharing these clips! What a great gift from your son! 🥰🩷 Keep celebrating, dear friend… that accident is still in your head and you need to hold each other tight! Love you! 😊😘

Hi Friend, thank you so much for always taking the time to read my thoughts! I know, Adele was one of my most favorite voices! I love the raspy sound and Lauren brings it with a full southern vibe. She is joy and light. Let's pray she stays strong in such a responsible arena of fame. That God continues to use her for His Glory. I am beyond grateful this year, more than ever, to be with my John still. I see so clearly the taking and the giving. Love you too. ox

Happy anniversary! And what a beautiful way to spend an evening and beautiful observations. We almost went to her show when she came to Raleigh but decided against it at the last minute. Shoot. I’ve been seeing all the hype about Taylor Swift’s new album with the conservative Christian’s negative reviews and do agree, after looking at some of the lyrics, Lauren is best choice!

Oh Dear Kelly, it's good to see you here. Thank you. It was absolutely perfect and God appointed for our anniversary. and oh no! you didn't go! Well, that's life at times. I know the feeling of being overwhelmed and everything "extra," that could be so good for us, is just too tiring to do. I tried not to mention T.S. name and I had NO CLUE she was dropping another album (good thing) but yesss.... Lauren is the best choice!

I hope you are able to write more here. The community is a nice place to be (right now - praying those noisy monsters and algorithms/nonsense doesn't arrive in full force). I will be writing you back in other places soon. Just know I am praying for you daily. Sending a huge hug and much love. ox

Hi Deb, looks like you had a wonderful anniversary. We were supposed to see Lauren at the Garden in NYC and then covid hit and it was canceled. She has an amazing story that I have been following through the years. It's so refreshing to see her growing and engaging rather than becoming self-indulgent and worldly. One thing that suffering does bring is a thankfulness for all the many blessings we haven't counted before. Grace & Peace to you xox Teri

Hi Teri! Oh so good to see you here! I feel like I owed you a message and I have totally fallen away from the forums again! I guess I'm continually shy to why I'm there in the first place however my friends are always so important to my heart. I'm sad Covid cancelled so much happiness, like Lauren Daigle. I hope you get to see her at some point! She's heading east but not sure where! You're right about that fine line of self-indulgent stars. It's easy to see how wrapped up in the world we can get and you can feel it the instant a popular person crosses that line. A friend here, an incredible performing artist of the day, just wrote a piece about the loneliness and isolation of increasing stardom and perhaps that adds to the selfishness? Suffering sure does bring blessings. We just need to hear Him when we are found in those dark places. Many blessings to you too and I hope all is well. We need a catchup! oxox

Dear Brother, She is very angelic - but like us all, can falter and be weary. Let's pray she stays strong and affects millions for God. We need this now more than we need shallowness of other stars. Love you so much. oxox

I love you friend. There is joy to come in all this pain. God will not let Satan win.

Living for heaven has never sounded more beautiful to me. You can hear it all through Lauren's voice and that's what really impacted me with her music. Holding you in prayer. ox

Amazing way to spend anniversary. Last year I gave my wife tickets to her concert as bday gift. She’s our favorite, amazing singer and person. We saw the concert in Philadelphia.

Alexander! It was the best! I am so excited she is your favorite. I pray she can keep up and stay healthy. Her foundation, being found by Him in her hardest moments, as a teenager, will stay with her for life I believe. The world is a hard place and we can't place all we have on our Godly heroes either, but we can recognize many as they rise above all the noise of the world with their sincere hearts. That can be life changing for many and seeing her use her platform for God is what the world needs right now.

You took your wife all the way to Phili for the show? That's truly special! Thank you for reading and your comment friend. ox

It was an amazing experience. We actually support a similar Christian foundation, we sponsor an orphan in Ukraine. I can send you a link sometime or will make a post.

I love that. We did this forever with Samaritan's Purse and then those children got older and the sponsorships ended as they became adults - and we moved to this reno. It's perfect timing right now. Of course you can send me a link. I have one more person who runs a large orphanage in India and in Iraq that I am looking at. I just pray about it. ox

Thank you Jenn. The greatest feeling in the world is that which guards your heart to say outloud, "I love Jesus" and I trust that He's got this. Without backing down or feeling intimidated by the world around you. To take all the blessings and count them as gold with absolute gratitude and thanksgiving to God. To go so low to be found is a pretty cool thing in the end. We can waiver, walk lightly, get deep and then weak, timid again. A hurting heart does that. We forget. It's work until the day we die. Aren't all relationships? What I love about Lauren is that she is real. Her background in music is similar to mine and she appreciates people. Her joy for God is contagious. We need this more than anything in these times we are living through. Thank you again for reading it Jenn. Her impact is great and I hope many young people begin to listen to her music over others... oxox
