Hi Bill! I had written you back here on a previous post, "Alive," I believe. I'm going to look up the Prayer of St. Francis! Can I get your email so we can correspond there 🥰. Our youngest is flying in today to visit for a week! I am so sorry that lightening storm did so much damage!! I can also understand staying off of social media especially these days. I don't use my Facebook very often, mostly for time consumption. We have come home to the busies, which is good, yet tiring!
God Bless and hope you get the lights/phone sorted this week! oxox
My e-mail address is pseudolus49@gmail.com i know that looks weird but the late Zero Mostel was one of my favorite actors. He played Pseudolus the Slave in "a Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" Tevia in "Fiddler on the Roof" and Max Byalistok in "The Producers" I always wanted to play those three parts in community theatre but only starred as Pseudolus . It was the first musical I had ever tried and to memorize the songs, I played a tape and sang them driving to and from the Courthouse every morning. People passing me thought i was either nuts or having a stroke. Talk to you soon.
Glad to see you're home ok. If you tried to call me but couldn't get me, we just discovered that the lightning storm took out some of our ceiling lights and our house phone. So as soon as we get that repaired I can be reached. My wife Nancy is on Facebook under Doddek, and you can contact he though there. i am not on facebook or social media except Facebook for professional reasons. Attorneys were stating things about judges and some of their clients in public foruns that should not be said and some got in serious trouble so I decided to stay away. May change my mind now that I'm retired. Loved the prayers especially what we call the Airman's Prayer
I have one for you that i have tried to live by. From the time I was a young boy I always admired that man called St. Francis of Assisi. Though it is beleived that one of his followers actually wrote it, the prayer is known as the Prayer of St. Francis. It is top long to write here but you can find it on Wikipedia. Let eme know if you have read it or might have heard it or read it before. Meanwhile I'll try to get my communication issues in check. Since I can't go shopping without a cart or wheel chair I am dependent on Nancy to run our errands so it may take a few days. Glad you and your husband are home safe and I hope you had a great time in Oregon. As always, Bill Grandone.
I love that poem and seem to remember Ronald Reagan quoting a line from it in a television address.
