Oh Jamie, you made my day! I can get fired up about the massive sadness in our world too. Thank you so much. I wish all people could feel love and experience the beauty around them. It hurts to know there is so much suffering as well. You are a gift too. oxox

Great photos, Deb! I love street art, it brings life and colour to a community. We’re lucky here in Toronto as it’s actively encouraged and can be found all over the city.

Ravel’s Bolero was a big part of my childhood. It was one of my dad’s favourite pieces of music and he played it often, along with Mario Lanza’s greatest hits. And, of course, there was Torvil and Dean’s ice dance.

Thank you Mark! That's amazing your dad loved Bolero! How cool that it reminded you of him playing the music. I'll have to check out Mario Lanza! Oh and I will NEVER forget Torvil and Dean! So you have the "ice skating channel too?" ha ha! I'd love to photograph Toronto's street art. I heard it's great! A project for you!! But I bet you have a lot too! Hope you're having a good weekend. ox

Joyce! I get giddy over it! John just keeps walking! He knows I'm fast from editorial work. But sometimes I wanted that perfect starburst over the big murals. ⏰ 🤦‍♀️ It's a wonder I kept up! I get quite lost in street art. Glad you enjoyed my journey! Happy weekend to you and the fur babies 😘

Very cool. I'm from Santa Monica in LA and lived in SF for a while so I've seen a lotta this stuff. Check out the 2 delightful film documentaries by Agnès Varda, Mur Murs (1980) and Faces Places (2017). You'll probably dig them!

... and sometimes it gets so bothered, like today - so I had to write about it. Thank you so much. Best to be busy with the beauty, but I know we probably think much the same while trying to focus on all the good. Hope you're having a great weekend! ox
