Was always amazed & awed at your photography. I remember a particular wedding photo you had of a couple on the dance floor that made me realize just how good you were at stopping time & making people really feel that moment. You never did average shots & brought to life the vibe in an angle or light that really showed how you cared about your art & special craft. As they say, "you have the eye" & always had the passion to go with it! ❤
how did I miss this? perhaps it was because I knew no one would comment! lol. It's hard to lay out truth and experience and because I'm varied, all over the place at times, this is a topic that mostly photographers and artists might understand deeply. I believe it's a topic in "all things."
I can't thank you enough for your support and comments. I'm always humbled by anyone that would think what I did was of any good. I simply loved working with people. It was the people/clients that brought out the best in me. Their story became part of my story. Art is a theater production of many, as you know, being a musician, there is so much that goes into it. A venue, the people attending, the quality of skill, equipment, light or lighting, all the personalities involved, from the mom who walked with me on the streets to capture her graduate or manager of the venue, the art director, etc. - every single note played or shot taken is a culmination of so many. But if you have love and passion in your heart, you can keep going even when the circumstances or personalities get in the way.
Thank you. Always. For your love and kindness. I couldn't have a better brother.
Your Dad would have loved reading this and discussing it with you. You both shared the same passion for photography and had to deal with the evolution of the digital world after all you had studied and learned before.
I wish we had had a million more discussions about photography and music. I certainly learned from the best. It was dad's passion behind the lens, the concentration on the music, that I admired the most. It was in him and I'm so glad I got to have some of that in me. I love you mom. oxox
