Thanks for the Mention! Sometimes, writing is the best tool we have to help process our feelings and try to make sense of these terrible tragedies. This was a beautiful tribute. Have a great weekend... 😎
Oh my sweet… my friends send their children to Camp Mystic. Fortunately, or by God’s plans, those I know are able to hold their children tight tonight. As of Sunday, some of their group were still waiting. They even hired retired SEALS to go in…
Bless you for writing this. My heart really, really needed it. 🕊️🙏🏻
Allison, it’s not fathomable. We are not supposed to outlive our children. The stories, the waiting, the heroes. Retired SEALS? wow.
When I am physically hurting for people God gives me a way out in creating something for Him. It released the pain to prayer. We have prayer in numbers and that is the most powerful. To intercede where these grieving families can’t. Their grief is too much. Thank you. ox
Sorry I haven't commented, got hacked on FB & IG and they banned me for life, they has a data breach the end of May and stole millions of passwords, so if you don't see me on your FB that's why, I didn't unfriend you LOL
Oh no! I’m so sorry Jackie! I don’t use my FB at all hardly except the 24 hour story from Instagram goes there. I hope you can sort something out with keeping in touch with everyone. That’s just horrible. I think it’s why I stay away — it’s become a regular thing on FB to have accounts stolen. No apologies ever! We’re all so busy. Thank you for getting in touch. oxox
Lovely tribute Deb, yes I have been keeping as in the story from Texas. Terrible that it happened. I hope the relatives and community find comfort in their faith and support from others x
And it doesn’t seem to end these tragedies :( Some have been double hit - there’s been so many floods, hurricanes and fires in recent years :( It’s hard to fathom. ox
Thank you for your remembrance of those families affected by the South Texas flooding. For so many families and their little girls, the horror of what was seen, and lost will never ever go away.
Oh friend. It hurts so bad. I can’t imagine being in Texas. Hurts even more. It will take a long time to recover. No one wants to outlive their child. It’s the worst nightmare. I pray over the health of those left behind and that they find peace and eventually purpose in this tragedy.
Thank you for reading. I have to take this pain and create something for Him. ox
Thank you for each beautiful word. Despite the cruelty of “nature”, our Creator is present, gracious, and merciful. Mother Nature is fickle at times; Abba Father gives wisdom to interpret even the unfathomable. May each life lost be found in the presence of God forever & ever. Amen. 🙏
Hi Glenn, thank you for reading it. We have to cling to God. Often the only way I can get my broken heart wrapped around things is to cry out and create something. I so appreciate your words here. God keep those left behind and give them peace and eventually purpose as they go through a long season of grieving. It will take a long time to recover. ox
Oh Trudi, it’s all so heart breaking. Gut wrenching :(. I just took it to writing. It’s a turmoil we feel and it has to come out. Thank you. Sending you a hug. ox

I’m agreeing with you in prayer, friend. 🙏
It’s the most powerful thing we have. Prayer in numbers.
Heart breaking. This poem and your picture have really touched my heart. So much suffering.

We have to hold onto love 🤗
