Ugh. Sending you love in the pandemonium. I’m tempted to turn off all the things and live in quiet peace. But… ignorance can’t be bliss always. Thank you for this beautiful message today ❤️

Thank you Jenn! Me too. It's feeling like things will really heat up and I don't like feeling this way. I play a lot of music to quell those feelings. Thank you for reading and your kindness as always. Sending you much love. oxox

It’s sad there is so much division, especially when for the most part, people want the same things, just have different ways of going about it. Thanks for sharing your passion for all you want for your country. Not long to go to the election now :)

It is sad my friend. I am your "sister of hope" in the U.S. We have so little control but to do ourselves in the process and live to the best of our ability. I know it's rough there too. And, yes, right around the corner. More pandemonium. Hate to be negative - yet it's a stark reality. ox

Indeed. I would never try to influence anyone, merely set out my stall but I think the main thing with voting/not voting etc is to follow your heart and do whatever it is with love not fear ❤️🙏

Great post! I've expanded musically out of my usual genres since summer as well. I found Jelly Roll and love him. I will try NF. I also write for the glory of God, and whatever He does I trust.

Ahhh thank you Joan! It's been so awesome to explore more music and I'm quite the explorer - but to be open to all kinds and especially rap, kinda pushes me right out of the zone! It's his lyrics, the brokenness, strength, the crying out and the hope. The confidence of hope. The saving grace of creativity. We need to continue to write for the glory of God and lay it at His feet! Sending you much love. ox

Just curious if you are familiar with Jelly Roll songs like Save Me, I Am Not Okay and Need a Favor?

Oh yesss! I meant to tell you, for sure! I just saw him visiting a prison ministry. What a great example of laying it all out for God. He sure uses our unique qualities to bring glory to our lives.

That's a great prayer. I'm going to pray that. Often. Our leader was just asked by 22 of his caucus to step down and he refused. How someone can lay waste to a country and cannot recognize his own demise is beyond me? Arrogance? When we have groups meeting to figure out how to save food that would be wasted and distribute it to the poor in our country. Not unhoused. Just working poor. How does this happen in a country that was once a breadbasket to the world? Every week I see more on the street that were recently housed. God help us! Winter is coming! I've been listening to some different music recently. Christianese platitudes are just not doing it for me any longer. Have you ever listened to Tom MacDonald? Great message!

Thank you so much Rosemary! I agree! Mostly I have never understood how anyone can be in these government high positions their entire working life - 40, 50 years, hobbling in on a cane or in a wheelchair, speaking nonsense!! and nothing has changed!! Yet, it's the history of man. When we say, "you can't make this stuff up." YOU CAN'T! Where is the thinking man and woman? and God help us always. I have never turned to thanksgiving and prayer more. Keep going, keep creating, keep living and stay awake. I haven't listened to Tom MacDonald. I will check him out. Have a peaceful weekend and thank you so much. oxox
