Give me oxygen of the Egret divine grace unchanged that I might breathe love no algorithm can rearrange.
Give me oxygen oh wondrous horse who from birth takes flight that I might breathe resilience like the succulent craving light.
Give me oxygen of music fill my space with place and time That I might breathe without screens as there are mountains to climb.
Give me oxygen to see ominous silent machines that I might breathe outside the confines of Kings and Queens.
Give me oxygen That I might breathe...
Short clip of the Southland Symphony, this past Sunday, performing Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8. My husband, John, one of three double bass players (almost direct center as video begins)
A few bits of amazing guest soloists John Walz, principal cellist L.A. Opera and the unreal Andrew Sords, violin, with Southland Symphony accompanying on Brahms “Double” Concerto for violin, cello and orchestra.
Short bit of them soloing to a one hit wonder of which I did not take note of composer.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
– Isaiah 40:31
A favorite song of mine :)
