Empty goes despair
Desperate hackman racket

Empty is the chair
Our anguish and our pain

they say it's Kingdom's gain

Dirty are the knives
Gnashing through our spirit

This evil has no limit

Darkness cannot steal
the glimmer of the moor

for their barbaric war

Tears rise like leaven
Steel buildings they will fall
Rain it up to heaven
Hear our mourning call

An assassin's toppled playground
A President's open pulpit
Back down as he lays down 
Go ahead and shoot your bullet

Wolves who speak in tongues
Cowardly goes the men
Your angry child owns guns

Hear our country's cries

We barely recognize
this once inspiring nation

Redeem this fiery earth
