“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Matthew 24:24-25

God‘s Will be done! The turnout may not be exactly as we have in mind, but we have to faith in Him. There is great deceit in the world and we have to negotiate the myriad of deception and lies. The very elect could be fooled. Who are the elect the Bible talks about? You and me, and anyone else committed to faith in the God of Abraham.

Stunning writing Deborah, I want to print this one and add it to my collection I keep in a notebook. Sending you much love! ✨💜🙏

Yess! Mat 24:24-25 - You are so right. It's all written, like Perry said and I too know this. We must trust in His plan. As one of my very dear friends said, Haman was executed in his own gallows. His will will be done for those who plot against His people.

I am so blessed and grateful you read this and liked it. I wrote it from my heart and then had a good cry. I am so humbled you would want to save it. Thank you Charlotte. Love you. oxox

Lovely, Deb ❤️. How things have changed/started the same. Sending prayers to those in the Middle East. I hope you someday get a chance to visit there, in peace.

Thank you so much for reading it Jenn! I love to save the old magazines and have several. It really struck me how today beautiful Tel Aviv would not be in a Nat Geo traveler magazine with an article like this. Such a diverse and creative place. All they wanted to do was thrive and enjoy each other's cultures. They desired peace, just like the concert goers on 10/7. Like us, they have friends from different countries in the Middle East and other places. All of us always migrating and trying to find home right? Anyways, I hope someday we could go there and to the Holy Land of Jerusalem. For now prayers for peace constantly. Sending you a bunch of love. oxox

Remember, Deborah, God has a plan for Israel; God also has a plan for Israel's enemies. It is written in the Scriptures. God has not forsaken Israel: He can't and He won't. It is a covenantal relationship, an agreement made at the beginning with Abraham.

Even so, things have to unfold as they do (the prophets foretold this), which includes most of the world forsaking Israel. It will be difficult times. But the faithful will hold steady. The faithful who know Scripture. But you already know that. I am here only to remind you.

Oh Perry! I know! I know for sure. He is with Israel 🇮🇱 Yet the cries are heavy of pain as we see this little country defend itself more than ever. The losses from 10/7, and still so much agony and grieving for the hostages and their families. As a mother I feel it. We cry out in pain for them as we wait on God's mighty hand. I never thought I would live to see so much hate and support of evil, (or live in these times, like in WW2) yet it is written. Hard to live within so much division, yet I do trust God and His plan. I am saying prayers for the crushing feeling over the world, especially with one enormous hurricane after another here in the U.S. I am remaining quiet and in prayer. I grew up with mostly Jewish friends, and as you know, I am the daughter and granddaughter of WW2 survivors. Also my nana survived WW1.

I wrote this because Tel Aviv, although constantly under fire, even 11 years ago and longer, was written about in Nat Geo Traveler, and I fell in love with the vibe there. Now, all mainstream media, including Nat Geo, and half our country and the world has turned their back.

I know it is Biblical and I know it is and always has been a battle of good over evil for God's most precious people. It's in my poem/(rap style). I used lines from the article, history of Tel Aviv and what God says of His people.

You are loved Perry and you see it very clearly. Thank you. ox

I am often hit in the heart with the division I see on social media and in person by people whom I would not have thought would behave in a hostile manner. But they do! This makes it very hard to remain on platforms when I once vowed to stay on and spread kindness, no matter what, and meet people where they were. Sometimes patience and love was too much for me so I lashed out and regretted it later. I'm learning to breathe and think and hands off the keyboard, or wait to speak.

The darkness wants me to give up and shut up. My mom's advice, "Kill them with kindness" has stuck with me, although all along, it hasn't been easy. Who knows what good can come out of meeting hatred with love? God knows and he works through each of us when we let Him.

Thanks, Deb! So good to share similar thoughts with you :) God bless! ~ Jen

Thank you Jen 🩷

I completely get it. I'm just here to love and speak truth. Not "my truth" but truth. God most definitely loves all his children. Not just "some."

God Bless you and thank you for reading and reaching out. This will be the least read or commented on. What matters the most is where our heart aligns. And that is a natural collective pain for all human beings that are suffering. I take the words thrown out into the world, by those that create them, seriously: Co-Exist, Equality, Diversity, Inclusive, multiculturally sensitive, nondiscriminatory, nonracist, etc. I take those words very seriously. I also take seriously "murder" for the sake of being "anti those words," and sexual, crimes. October 7th was the most intentional, abhorrent, barbaric mass murder and kidnapping, against innocent Jewish people since the Holocaust. If this planned tragedy had gone down on any other race, religious affiliate, college campus, children's classroom, concert, gay nightclub, etc., at the barbaric extent of October 7th our country would have lost it's mind protesting against the perps. Crying in the streets.

There isn't one person supporting this barbaric killing machine that the machine wouldn't gladly kill. None of this is rocket science. This is a battle between good and evil. I think to myself how many looked away in WW2. Whole arenas filled with pro-Hitler supporters, including in New York City, back when he was spewing his plans.

Never thought we'd live in those times.
