Thank you so much Mary! I hear all these things and write them and then I think I need something like that sunflower and wonder if I can sketch it (of which I have zero skills and have no idea what I’m doing!). My husband is wondering what is happening - but I think God is growing me in ways I never saw coming. Hope you’re having a good weekend. Sending you a big hug. oxox
Thanks Deborah you are getting through this disaster, God is great loves his people and takes care of us all Thanks Deborah , have a good weekend sending love and blessings to you all ♥️ X
First off, I love the sketch! The poetry was inspirational, Deb, so strong tinged with sadness. And I adore that song. Sending you love, it’s not as hard, hard as it seems…. ❤️
Dear Jenn, I don’t know what is happening! I hear things through music and then I write. LOVE Zeppelin! Poetry and sketching is a new journey of growth from God. Things I never knew I had in me until our world was rocked. I thought I lost my ability to care about my passion for photography, but God has provided this path and I have followed. I will always love it but I’ve embraced more creativity, rather than canning what I already had and doing nothing. It’s not as hard, hard as it seems! ha ha! Our mind is a powerful tool.
So my art class got cancelled! low enrollment. I was soooo bummed - but decided I am going to pursue the mission of learning on my own until the spring course! Apparently there is a lot of apathy for winter courses - which is understandable. I felt bad for the instructor :( But I’m going to keep going! I even have an art date with my 7 year old grandson next week! He’s soooo into it and it’s a beautiful thing. He’s great inspiration! So are you of course! Thank you again. Sending you a lot of love. ox
That is incredible, the way music literally speaks to you. Perhaps photography was just a bridge to creating with your hands, you developed the vision you needed and now comes the physical work. Also, it was perfect for that time in your life as a career, and maybe you’ve outgrown it now. I’m excited for whatever God has in store for you, however he is going to use you.
I’m so sorry your class was canceled!! What a bummer. I know you can teach yourself while you wait for spring. Enjoy that art date, that’s so cool. Sending you love and a hug! ❤️❤️❤️
I feel your sadness and frustration, your hope and determination in these words, Deb. Your ability to let it flow, the rhythm/cadence pulls us in.. if this is the new path for you, camera girl… you’ve achieved mastery already in poetry! Reading first on IG …it sounded like Amanda Gorman…Poet laureate worthy!! I love your big heart for all things, for righting wrongs and fixing troubled souls! You are definitely doing God’s work thru your writing…makes us think, feel, reflect… we can all DO, BE SO MUCH BETTER! Love you 😘❤️

You know, this has echoes of William Blake. I love the words and emotions stirred. Great poetry born of passion. 🌟
