Thank you so much for reading this. I remember when our oldest kinda woke up on the field and had some epic moves. They don’t stay consistent at this age but they do get these sudden brave ideas! He’s such a cutie. Hard to believe how fast they grow up and as a Nana I’m still trying to find the formula to make it stop! lol. And thank you again. I feel so blessed to have you as a friend and co-creator. oxox

This brings back so many memories of your Dad coaching your brother's soccer team starting when he was 6 years old. Us mums couldn't resist running up and down the sidelines shouting words of encouragement. It was the weekend entertainment for a number of years.

I can still see you running up and down the sidelines kicking your leg as if you were scoring the goal! ha ha! Not embarrassing at all! Oh MOM!!!

I love you mom! Thank you for listening to this little story! oxox

What a lovely story! Moments like that are very special, and what you said to him at the end there was so beautiful, and so true. Having encouragement and support from an early age is so important, and it's such a wonderful thing. Happy Easter to you and your family, and Happy Anniversary, too... 🐥🐰😎🐰🐥

Thank you so much Chris for reading it! lol! It was such a fun moment, although a very lopsided score! He’s just such a cutie and came alive as they begin to do! Not always consistent but such a lovely moment and he was so proud. He says “art is life.” He’s 7.5 - amazing. Who knows what we will all grow up to do. Love and support is everything!

Happy Easter to you and yours as well! and thank you! We can’t wait to load the old van, play dashboard drums and explore with the dogs! ha ha! So excited for you and your book! Huge congrats again Chris! ox

Thanks! That's so wonderful he's showing an interest in creative things. I'm sure he'll do well whatever path he chooses to follow. And that's great you're off exploring in a van, too. That'll be a lot of fun, for sure, and it's the perfect way to experience the tranquility of nature. Have a lovely time... 😎

Thank you Chris! Yes, it’s so interesting to see how they develop and what they love to do. We’re enjoying Arizona but it’s been a bit hot for April. Finally cooling down tomorrow! Going to explore the road to Sedona :)

I just looked that up, and it seems like an incredible place. The red rock formations there are stunning. Have fun... 😎

Omgoodness. It’s insane! But unfortunately the town of Sedona is like a massive blown-up Main Street in Disneyland! So we avoided that and drove all over staring at the rock formations!

Aww bless him. It’s so important to support our kids and grandkids in their endeavours. A friend of mine lost her husband a couple of weeks ago. Her photo of her son having scored a hat trick saying “these were for his dad” just melted me.

Keep cheering him on and keeping his dreams alive ❤️

He’s such a cutie! So sweet, kind and very artistic - but always so much fun to watch kick a ball around (especially on the trampoline! ha ha! I’ve just about lost my marbles jumping with him when he was little, slipping on balls. Talk about brave with the bad knees! ha ha!

I’m so sorry to hear about your friend’s loss :( And that’s enough to make one cry, doing hat tricks for his dad. Bless him. Who knows what they will grow to do - just as long as it’s something they love.

Hope this finds you well. oxox

Deborah, I read your post yesterday, but I was mourning the loss of a dear friend who passed away early that morning. It was a difficult day for me. However, today I'm beginning to recover from that emotional jolt, finding comfort in the knowledge that she is now at peace in the arms of God.

As for goals, isn’t that so true? I often remind the little girl I babysit about this when we play board games and she’s losing. Like many kids, she sometimes tries to cheat. I teach her it's important, though, to set meaningful goals in our lives and strive to achieve them. We may not always hit 100%, but it’s the journey to accomplish our goals is what truly matters!

By the way, your grandson looks wonderful in that photo! 😍😍🥰

Dear Charlotte, I am so very sorry for the loss of your friend :( I'm sorry it's taken me a few days to catchup here. It's very difficult to lose a friend. I lost my best friend when we were 49 years old. Cancer :( Very hard. Peace is all we want for each other in the end. For the suffering to end. I'm glad you're doing okay.

Meaningful goals are the best. It's true it's not the winning but the effort and the magical moments long talked about afterward. The journey is everything. Don't you love it when you make sense to the little ones? They have such big hearts.

We've been so busy and getting ready to celebrate our 40th. I'm posting our anniversary story tomorrow and then taking a break. I post it every year but this year I made a video and embedded it. I will probably do some reading and I will catch up with you!

Love you friend. Thank you always for your kindness and support. oxox
