The Authority of the Devil, SatanCon and Cultural Worship

Satan, also known as the Devil, and sometimes called Lucifer in Christianity, is an entity in the Abrahamic religions that seduces humans into sin or falsehood.

“Most of us don’t believe in Satan, not a literal Satan. It’s not some 1980’s horror film.” - quote from a SatanCon attendee.

The attendee goes on to say, “We’re just like everybody else. We pay our taxes, we want our communities to improve and do better. We love our kids just like everybody else. We’re just normal people, we just believe a little differently.”

That’s like me saying, “I attend a First Baptist church every Sunday and I have really enjoyed it for years, but it’s not like I believe in a literal God? I mean it’s not some horror movie like The Passion of the Christ.” I go on to say the same thing above. I pay my taxes, I want better for my community, I love my kids. I’m normal, but I like to sit in church on Sunday, but it’s not about God, while I hold up my praying hands in unison with other attendees.. Hummm.

This weekend, in Boston, hundreds of Devil worshippers showed up to attend SatanCon, “the largest Satanic gathering in history.” In opening ceremonies Bibles were shredded, “un-baptisms” were performed and a “thin blue line flag” was ripped up.

Just in case one doesn’t have enough expressive items representing their beliefs, there’s a “Satanic Marketplace” one can peruse.

Doesn’t a car show sound like more fun? “Good” old fashioned non-shock-and-awe? Now that’s a culture I could get involved in!

Something just isn’t right and this is a huge problem in society. Does anyone literally pay attention to just how good Satan is? He is sooooo good he can help create The Satanic Temple and fool its followers into believing it’s not about Satan at all. It’s about all these other “normal” things in life. Good parenting, good communities, obeying laws, etc., “except we believe a little differently?”

Believing in Satan is believing in tyranny. It’s just that with Satan, He does it so smooth, like the sheep in wolf’s clothing act, except the words S A T A N are part of it.

Satan IS in charge of PLANET EARTH. Sometimes I don’t think we get that. Satan gets into everything even some of our churches and their leaders.

There are corrupt people and there are people that are easily corrupted.

There are thousands of irreligious groups to belong to that do not have SATAN written across their marque’, flyers, websites and business cards. Why draw attention to the opposition of Good? It’s confusing at least, evil at worst.

“We love our children, our community, etc., we just don’t like authority,” said another attendee of SatanCon.

The authority of evil is the Devil. It’s not some kind of rebellion known as a seasonal passage in your teenage years, it’s an authority that comes disguised as good on the outside and purely wicked on the inside.

Sometimes evil just shows up, looks and acts exactly that.

The Satanic Temple, as stated, apparently does not worship the Devil, yet instead views the character of the Devil as “a symbol for rejecting tyrannical authority.” Because when it comes to the Devil there is no tyrant? Most everyone attending the largest Satanic gathering event in history were also wearing masks, as they flashed the Devil-horn hand symbol, shouting “Hail Satan!” They are 100% obedient to Satan’s authority.

They support Satan’s hatred of God, Who holds ultimate Authority over Satan, so I guess that’s where it makes sense for them. Except God loves family, Satan despises family, but they love family, as expressed by attendees of SatanCon.

If you are confused that is a good thing. If none of this confuses you then it’s time to put the phone down, turn the t.v. off and think hard on this.

We are fast tracking to end times if we think that any of this is good. If we think that destruction is good, swimming is racist, smoking is bad, but marijuana is good, questioning the origins of Covid is bad, and expressing differences between what is a man and what is a woman is bad, and not seeing that “The Satanic Temple” is exactly that? believing it’s anything but Satanic?

This is a world gone mad.

The Satanic Temple is a small fraction of millions and millions of cults in the world growing daily at a rapid pace. “Manipulative religion,” worship and obedience to leaders and strangers vs. what God says. The religion of culture worship, i.e., body image, self-importance, slave to fame, “climate religion,” “health religion,” “race religion,” etc. Anything that convinces another to inflict damage on themselves, those around them and others, as they worship these things with overt aggression is a religious cult.

Add in precious souls who struggle with OCD, Asperger's Syndrome and other mental illnesses and you have the Devil working on overdrive to manipulate, confuse, steal and destroy.

Should we be paying attention to these cults? Yes. Can we identify them? that’s the biggest problem. These cults are becoming “the norm,” and devouring our society.

Am I beautiful the way I am? Do I need fame? Am I a racist? Is God bad? Is Satan good? Do I need a foreign liquid shot in my body? Am I evil? Am I ugly? Would I be better off dead? is destruction peaceful? is this my cause? Am I who I am? Do I need drugs to feel better?

Remember Jim Jones and The People’s Temple? 900 people swallowed cyanide-laced Kool-Aid. It was called “revolutionary suicide” at the time. It was abnormal.

It’s one thing to say “to each his own,” but when mass manipulation comes in the form of the destruction and break-down of basic humanity and “Sudden Adult Death Syndrome” (for instance) just gets thrown in there, suddenly.., we ought to question what is happening?

Revolution without a cure or Revelation sooner than we think?

P.S. (update from original story →) When attendees left SatanCon, several ran into Christian groups outside. It was reported that nearly 100 changed their minds for Satan and gave their lives to God. Guess God knew what he was doing that day for few people… and that’s how He works!
