Before my next story, I recently found my high school English Comp folder. I actually got decent grades but laughed so hard when I saw the comment at the top of this assignment. “This is a rush job!” Rush job or not, I was 16 and this was my answer to the question “Are Motion Pictures Detrimental to American Youth?” It ends with “why fight it?”
The power of influence will remain, so the most important question I have is “What is the investment of critical thinking worth?” There’s a prompt… and btw, I was referring to the movie JAWS which opened in 1975 and petrified audiences for at least a decade. Seemingly light, compared to how genuinely “mind-washing” all of the screens have become to American Youth. Yet.. we continue to argue at the surface of a much deeper problem.
This is the family we fight for. “An understatement.”
I hope you’re enjoying your Sunday or are off to a good week ahead! Opinions and comments welcome!

Ecclesiastes 1:9
It never ceases to amaze me That you even as a teen you had a gift with words and the ability to really think. I was only 14 in 1977 and I was so scared by Jaws. My mother had forbade me to see it but I got my older brother to get me in. I never watched it again or the sequels. If I run across it on TV I change the channel.
