A Shot In the Dark
I can’t stay silent anymore, after the CDC’s decision today regarding Covid vaccines for public school children., and would be remiss not to say something.
For months and months my sleep has been decent at best. There is just too much going on in the world to pray for, yet we do have the “choice” of endless prayers. Thank God for that. Thank God for all the people in the world, trapped in terrible circumstances, that they can have that. Because prayer might seem the very least, but it’s actually the very most.
If I have ever adored anything in my life it is children., so I hope you can understand why I am posting this.
The ability to search for truth and facts should never be politicized, yet long-time medical professionals, in their fields of study, have been denied voices. “Canceled” at a time when they were exercising a moral and ethical duty to help people make discerning health decisions.
Covid-19, and whatever perpetrated it on the world, has been real and devastating. I understand that something had to be done, and “fast.” I also understand that for those with a greater risk of dying, “the first” vaccine rollout was important and was more than likely the best option for those in comorbid categories. Full stop. I also know that many in low and high risk categories “chose” to bypass it for natural immunity.. at their own risk.
We have long studied and appreciated “natural immunity,” which somehow became an offensive term.
Hospitals and staff coped in an unknown world, learned as they went with treatments, good and bad, were swept up in medical and political mandates, that lead to a mixed cocktail of doing the right thing, reactive fear and ethical control.
There was so much panic and confusion that it was easy to see how we became a modern version of the Tower of Babel. Everyone jumping in, working toward a perfect end goal, this is right, you’re wrong, here we go - when suddenly no one understood each other. Now we have to. We have to dignify people’s stories.
Never have we seen such an array of consequences and injuries from vaccines.
I want to say that in the entire time of a world-wide pandemic I have never once disrespected or spoken down to anyone that made a choice for themselves and have prided myself on seeing others exercise their God-given freedoms. The only time I opened my mouth was almost one year ago to my niece regarding thinking hard about this vaccine for her precious young and healthy children. My advice, care and concern, is not law and never has been. I am deeply independent, extremely discerning and am in no way a “conspiracy theorist.” That’s just ridiculous fodder, saved for the very few that are., and no one has to listen to them. We have to take the word, “discern” seriously. During 2020, I did, and I saw the sea part. Family and friends frantically retreated, whether by fleeing or just being passive, uninviting and judgemental. No one speaks of it anymore.
I recognized my own health and my history and made decisions accordingly. I also recognized the choices of others and respected them. I looked back at vaccine history in our family and everyone turned out fine. For the most part these vaccines truly eradicated very serious diseases and problems that others paid the price for and fallout for these vaccines was far more rare, in comparison to the population. They took years to vet, test and develop. I have friends with vaccine injured children so I err on deep compassion for what we believed to be working for the majority of us. It wasn’t until my last child and the newly released chicken-pox vax that I decided he didn’t need it. I did my research, it wasn’t mandatory and I expressed this to my husband. He agreed. On the day my youngest had a doctor’s appointment, for something else, I was working. John took him and before his eyes, saying “no” to this vaccine, a brazen nurse stuck our son in the arm. My husband is definitely more passive in these situations, but I believed him when he said, “she laughed saying nothing was going to happen to him” and proceeded just like that. The following week I went to that doctor’s office and asked to speak to that nurse. She came out, looked me in the eye and said, “so what are you going to do about it?” with an attitude that shocked me out the door. I remember my heart pounding with fists that wanted to punch, sitting in my car. THIS WAS “MY” KID. True story. He’s fine. But I had a right to say no.
Mainstream media is absolutely backing the protection of dutiful and life-saving information - which is at the root of freedom of choice. Without concise, factual information, how do we make decisions for ourselves and our family? I’d never want someone to go to bed worrying over their health choices, but I’ve been there and that is why I chose not to “pay to play.” Just before the isolation I was diagnosed with a heart condition. I chose no vaccine, and to lose things I valued, during the height of Covid, to protect my health., which was far more valuable. My husband was vaccinated by choice. A very healthy and athletic 59 year old, he suffered Covid badly in February of 2021. He got the first shot due to discerning an article by a well known immunologist that said the first shot would give a good boost of immunity for people like my husband. Then the article disappeared.
I dared to read the voices of those that were trying to get themselves out there in both the science world and of real investigative journalists who have deeply paid the price - from both “sides” of the political spectrum. I listened to vaccine injured people in social media and watched as they were bullied and wanted to kill themselves. Trust me, this person, “me,” that you might know, or not at all, promises you that history WILL speak of this time where reasonable voices, that never changed their trajectory, never wavered in their investigations and curiosity or scientific practices, will be heralded as heroes., righteous and honest in their modern day Orwellian story of truth.
In light of the lowest risk category, “young children,” and their futures, both England and Sweden have pulled these mRNA vaccines and the Florida General Surgeon has adamantly advised against the mRNA shots stating “a study” ←- from the Florida Department of Health. He has had nothing but push-back from the “medical community.”
We also have a newly labeled “cause of death.” “Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.” That was sudden?
Those who are in charge from the top to their enshrined circle of mainstream, big pharma, and the profiteers are able to hit back at a factual study of a well respected state general surgeon?? What does he have to gain in this case? lives?
To disagree with me is completely fine. I praise God if you are unaffected from these vaccines. This is for the many people affected and the future of our children’s health.
A flu vaccine is not a requirement to go to school! nor should a Covid vaccine that is mutating like a flu! This should absolutely be up to discerning parents. It was bad enough to see people forced out of their jobs/careers because they made health decisions for themselves. Now kids can’t get an education?
If you see the label “mis-information” - it actually means you should read it!! The American Medical Association and others have, in fact, changed facts in published journals! There are, again, professionals in their fields risking their livlihoods to state these falsifications!
I love my friends and family enough to put myself on the chopping block.

Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Robert Malone - Read anything that they have to say and listen to their interviews with Joe Rogan on Spotify or YouTube. Suddenly “renowned experts” were “controversial!” Canceling them is like trying to cancel the soldiers who saw the skelital remains of people in the concentration camps.
Epoch Times - they are ex-pat Chinese journalists who understand communism at it’s core. 20 years old and gaining a lot of ground. The science section is of particular interest. There is a recent story from “embalmers.” Incredibly frightening. For now, many around the country are staying low-key and saving their own money to form a cohesive alliance.

I laughed at Wiki and the NYT’s description of the Epoch Times. “A far right, Falun-Gong religious movement backed newspaper.” Far right and far left are labels. Apparently, if you are a Republican you are “far right” (approx. 80 million people! scary!). If you’re a Democrat, you’re just a Democrat. “Far left” is reserved for a much smaller group holding a lot of power. Falun Gong is a suppressed religious/spiritual group practicing meditation and peaceful living - the CCP puts them in reeducation-through-labor camps, prisons, and other detention facilities.

Hi Deb, wow.... this is a lot. You voiced much of what I've been thinking.
And yay for the Epoch Times--we've been supporting them from the beginning.
As far as the CDC's recent guidance, the good news is--"The unanimous recommendation to add the vaccine to the annual schedule does not mandate the shots or preclude unvaccinated kids from attending school." per their website.
I stopped listening to the CDC's 'guidance' long ago. I think what we're really fighting is an epidemic of fear.
May the Holy Spirit give people ears to hear the truth!
This was a great read! I appreciate and support your views on this subject, Deborah. Critical thinking and courageous speech are just as important as ever, maybe more important now as things are changing at an increasingly rapid rate in this modern age. And I fear that the lessons that should have been learned by the electorate after two years of political actions (mis)justified by COVID-19 have resulted in mostly silence and a disturbing lack of introspection and responsability-taking.
