Wow, you said a mouthful…and you’re absolutely correct. It’s great you were able to enjoy an artist who is not only good at what she does, but does it for the love of it ! Something about cozy surroundings make the experience that much better.
The entertainment industry, that includes movies, tv, music and sports, has become bastardized by fame and more so, money. You need a second, third and fourth mortgages to be able to attend anything anymore. Big business, greedy CEOs and greedier shareholders have ruined too many a good thing. I look forward to the day when they all choke on it.
So glad you left the performance with a smile on your face instead of a chip upon your shoulder.
